The MCG is a local right-wing populist party in Geneva, founded in 2005. It
is the second-largest party in the Geneva cantonal parliament (currently 20 out
of 100 seats) and has one seat in the Swiss federal parliament.
The
symbol shows the Geneva colours (yellow and red) with party abbreviation and URL
(both in black). The flag is basically the same, but uses a different typefont
[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9].
A derivative of the MCG, named MCR (Mouvement
citoyens romands = Romand Citizens' Movement), has been established in other
French-speaking cantons, without much success, though. The branch in the canton
of Neuchâtel, the Mouvement Citoyens Neuchâtelois (MCNE = Neuchâtel Citizens'
Movement), uses a flag; this the cantonal flag defaced with party name and URL,
in black [10].
